I'm by far a Naturalist: Nature is all there is and all basic truths are truths of nature.-I spend hours in my garden and create a habitat for all things big and small. I love to watch the flowers grow, the insects that come, -the animals that grace my garden . . . Horticulture, Botany...LOVE IT ALL! There is a plant for everything! To attract good bugs, repel bad bugs, plants to grow and eat, herbs for teas, medicine etc., Plants that love sun, plants that love shade... their names, where they originate from-I just love this stuff! The colors of flowers-landscaping your home. Nothing finer in life than growing and eating your own fruit and vegetables and enjoying nature and all it brings forth. I like a simple, small town life. It's me!

LIFE: It's all about the simple things- the memories you create and those you impact along your path!!

Spring

Summer

Our resident cardinal. We have lots of finches-the gold finch being my favorite. We get blue jays, sparrows and the morning doves, titmouse and more!
We love our local birds! They feed every day and have a nice habitat here in our big yard with lots of trees, feeders and baths! (Don't worry, our cat wears a large bell, much to her
dismay-so the birds can fly away when she comes around...lol)

  lovely MONARCH

WHAT IS THIS?

This resident squirrel just loves the 100+ year old walnut tree in our yard!

our local skunk eating on our porch about 2 feet from me!

Hummingbirds in my garden!

PRAYING MANTIS. WE GET 100 ++ LITTLE GUYS WHO HATCH EACH SPRING. AND BY MID SUMMER THE STRONG SURVIVE...THEY MATE AND MAKE THEIR COCOONS. IT'S VERY WONDERFUL AND A SURE NATURAL WAY OF PEST CONTROL. THEY TAKE CARE OF ALL THE ANNOYING INSECTS THAT CAN RUIN A GARDEN! BELOW ARE 2 THAT ARE MATING...

SOMETIME LATER - HERE'S HER COCOON

SPRING

SUMMER

Our cat Cosmo

She has an easy life my friends! lol.
